MCKENNEY “KENNY” BURK JR.
FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for McKenney “Kenny” Burk Jr., 53, who died Monday, April 20, 2009, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, April 25) at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Quentin Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Wardrick family cemetery.

Surviving: mother, Pauline Burk of Franklinton; sisters, Pearlene Cannon of Hyattsville, Md., and Tammie Burk of New Carrollton, Md.; brothers, Larry Burk of Capital Heights, Md., Ricky Burk of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jerry Burk of the home.

Arrangements are by Richardson Funereal Home, Louisburg.

What an awesome homegoing celebration! Kenny's ministry touched so many. He was a light that guided those in need. He will be truly missed. Our job is to pick up the torch and continue the work that he began.
