JAMES FRED NEAL
NORLINA - James Fred Neal, 53, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010. Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 7, at Haywood Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Jones Chapel Church cemetery, with Bishop Ivey Butler officiating.

Surviving: wife, Lonie B. Neal of the home; daughters, Latonya  Walker of Durham, and Katasha Barnes of Henderson; sons, Gerald Neal and Derek Neal, both of the home, Mario Cooke of Louisburg and Antonio Smith of Warrenton; sisters, Alice Monroe of Youngsville, Sarah Johnson, Lucy Kearney and Ruth Neal, all of Henderson, and Edith Woodard of Louisburg; brothers, Joseph B. Neal, Eddie Neal and Claude Neal, all of Henderson, and Willie H. Neal of Brooklyn, N Y; six grandchildren.
