KATHLEEN P. SHEARIN
RALEIGH - Kathleen Perry Shearin died Sunday, July 11, 2010. Funeral was held Friday, July 16, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel, Knightdale, with the Rev. Keith Vaughan officiating. Burial was in the Wake Cross Roads Baptist church cemetery, Raleigh.

She was born in Wake County to the late Matthew E. Perry and Winnie O’Neal Perry Wiggins. She worked at the Temple Baptist Church Day Care until 2008.

Surviving: daughter, Barbara S. Williams of Raleigh; sisters, Virginia P. Shearin of Durham, Mary Rose P. Roper of Marco Island, Fla., Grace S. Privette of Youngsville; brothers, Floyd N. Perry of Durham, Aldred Perry of Wake Forest, Cecil Stell of Raleigh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Brooks Shearin; son, James Thomas Shearin; brothers, Matthew Ervin Perry and Laban Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Baptist Church Building Fund, 1417 Clifton Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.
