WILLIAM EDWARD COLLIER, JR.
WINTER PARK, FL - William Edward Collier, Jr. of Winter Park, FL, died on October 8, 2010.  Ed was born in Louisburg, N.C. on January 14, 1917.

He was a graduate of  Louisburg College and King’s Business College and worked most of his life as an accountant. He was also a citrus grove owner and grower. Ed was a past  member of Green Hill Golf Course, Rolling Hills Country Club, the Citrus Club,  The University Club, the Winter Park Stag Club, the Lions Club, and he was a  Rotarian. For many years he was an elder of the Winter Park Presbyterian  Church.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Wilba R. Collier, and his  brother, David F. Collier.

He is survived by his children: daughter, Constance  Collier; son, William E. Collier III and his wife Lynda; and stepson James  Hester and wife Diana; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Mary Collier; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral  service will be held graveside on Thursday, October 14th, at 10:00 A.M. at Palm  Cemetery in Winter Park.
