FRANCES E. FOSTER
RALEIGH - Frances Carolyn Eubanks Foster, 80, of Raleigh, passed away Sunday night, October 2, 2011 at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday night.

Born February 25, 1931 in Lyman, SC, Frances was the daughter of the late Elliott Eubanks and Beulah Stephens Eubanks.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Eubanks.

Frances is survived by her husband Claude Foster of 63 years; stepmother, Irene Eubanks of Lyman, SC; a son, Austin Foster, Jr. (Pat) of Cary; daughters, Donna Kirby (Donnie) of Clayton and Cathy Ray (Brian) of Bunn; a brother, Richard Eubanks; sisters, Marion Brookshire, Linda Vaughn, Jackie Owens, Judy Boyles; grandchildren, Paula Champion (Chris), Austin Foster, III (Amanda), Amanda Blanchard (Matt), Brian Ray, Jr., Melissa Boney (Doug), and Buddy Kirby (Rhonda); great-grandchildren, Jamie, Madison, Elizabeth, and William.

Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and neighbor and will be greatly missed.
