MINNIE H. JONES

LOUISBURG — Minnie Harris Jones, 86, of Louisburg, died Saturday, May 12, 2012. Mrs. Jones, a native of Franklin County, was the daughter of the late Arthur Henry and Lessie Greene Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Young Jones.      

Mrs. Jones was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Leary and her husband Michael of Lowland, North Carolina; her sons, William Y. Jones and his wife Joy, Henry T. Jones and his wife Nancy, all of Louisburg; four grandchildren, Ramey Seal and his wife Kim, Amy Merritt and her husband Ray, Nanda Perry and her husband Jason, Bryan Leary and his wife Nicole; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kellie Gallagher-Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

The Family received friends from 1 P.M. until service time at the church.

Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services in Louisburg is handling the arrangements.
