RICHARD G. AYSCUE, JR.
September 2, 1950 – October 22, 2012
TARBORO – Richard Glenn Ayscue, Jr., 62, of Tarboro, died Monday morning.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Louise Ayscue, Sr.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Fuller Chapel United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Richard is survived by his wife, Deborah Ayscue; sister, the Rev. Tammy Ayscue of Epsom; children, Michelle Maue (John) of Epsom; Anthony Ayscue (Rebecca) of Greenville; William Ayscue of Williamston; Brenda Ayscue of Epsom; Elizabeth Curtis (Quenton) of Williamston; Kaleena Phelps (Eric) of Tarboro; Travis Smith (Kelsey) of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Christopher Harrell, Jordan Harrell, Johnathon Maue, Cameron Maue, Hannah Ayscue, Daniel Ayscue, Mary Iverson, Lauren Phelps.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuller Chapel United Church of Christ, c/o Christy Pulley, 771 Edwards Rd., Henderson, NC 27537 or N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, 1701 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1701.

The family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, and all other times at the home of the Rev. Tammy Ayscue at 769 Opie Frazier Road, Henderson.
