MORRIS T. BALL
HENDERSON - Morris Thomas Ball, 80, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at Rex Health Care in Raleigh.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Ernest Ball and Ellen Grissom Ball.

Mr. Ball was a retired employee of Waste Industries Inc. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church.

A graveside funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m., at Sunset Gardens, conducted by Dr. Gene Wood.

Surviving: wife, Dorothy Clark Ball; daughters, Deborah B. Ayscue, of Henderson and Gail B. Pearce (Jerry) of Louisburg; two grandchildren, April Ayscue and Crystal Ayscue; and a great-grandson, Tripp Taylor.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Ball, Allen Ball, and William Fenner Ball.

The family will receive friends at the home of Gail and Jerry Pearce, 148 Joe Ward Road, Louisburg (in the Epsom Community).

Flowers will be accepted; or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 914, Henderson, NC 27536; or to the ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.

Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.
