PATRICIA U. BYNUM
RALEIGH - Patricia Ann Upchurch Bynum, 69, died Saturday, April 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, April 25) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 590 Bryan Dr., Cary. Burial will follow in Apex Cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of Richard Berkley Upchurch and Ruby Elizabeth Parrish Upchurch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hilliard Bynum; son, John Richard Bynum; brothers, Jim, Berkley and Richard Upchurch; sister, Ruth Hammock.

Surviving: brother, Robert Upchurch; sister Ruth Hammock; sons, Mike Bynum, Tim Bynum (Ann), Chris Bynum, and Scott Bynum (Virginia); daughters, Melonie Keith (David), Shannon Kerns (Brian); 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
