NINA MARIE PERRY
HERTFORD — Nina Marie Perry, 82, died Friday, July 12, 2013 as the result of a traffic accident. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach, Va.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening, July 19, at The Mulkey Hertford Chapel, 1124 Harvey Point Road, Hertford.

Born in Camden County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Mattie Morgan Smith. She retired from the Elizabeth City Hosiery Mill and attended Burgess Baptist Church in Hertford.

Surviving: daughter, Teresa Smith (Frank) of Chesapeake, Va.; a son, Sid Perry (Deborah) of Louisburg; a sister, Doris Whitehurst of Charlotte; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Grover Perry; two sisters, Mildred Bray and May Armstrong; and three brothers, Elmer Lee Smith, Milton Morgan, and Johnnie Morgan.
