RUBY MAY B. MARONEY
FRANKLINTON-Ruby May Bragg Maroney, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at Louisburg Nursing Center in Louisburg. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday Aug. 22, at 1 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was a native of Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late Willie Bragg Sr. and Elizabeth Dixon Bragg. She was the owner of the former Ruby’s Place in Franklinton and attended Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton.

Surviving: sons, Michael Maroney and Martin Maroney, both of Orange Co., New York, and Matthew Maroney of Franklinton; brother, Raymond Bragg of Franklinton; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Bragg, Jr., and sisters, Margaret Harris and Dorothy Collery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  at Hall Wynne Funeral Home in Franklinton.  At other times they will be at the home.
