THOMAS K. ARNOLD, JR.
LOUISBURG - Thomas “T.K.” (Scoop) Kent Arnold, Jr., 90, of Louisburg died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Franklin Regional Medical Center.  Born on September 23, 1923 to the late Thomas K. and Mary Snow Arnold.  T.K. was preceded in death by his son, Danny Brent Arnold; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen A. & Steve Crowder; his son-in-law, Roger P. Holmes, and his sisters, Zaida Lanier and Ann Clark.  A member of Cedar Rock First Baptist Church and according to his wife, he was the most honest person she has ever known.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev. Jack Carter officiating.  Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hunt Arnold; his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Lisa Arnold of Louisburg; his daughter Kitty A. Holmes of Whiteville; his daughter-in-law, Linda Arnold of Youngsville; his grandchildren, John Arnold, Jason Michael Holmes (Suzanne), Kent Walton Holmes (Kelly), David Brandon Holmes (Heather); four great-grandchildren, Harrison, Karsen, Trent and Greer Holmes; his step-grandchildren, Misty Salter and Jordan Perrault (Lowell) and Step Great-Grandchildren, Alexis and Braden Salter and Aiden Perrault; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.  Donations may be made to Cedar Rock First Baptist Church, 4879 NC Hwy 56 E., Castalia, NC  27816.  Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
