LOUISBURG - Kenneth Edwin Coburn, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. Services will be private; however, burial at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
He was born to the late Chester and Naomi Greene Coburn. He served in the US Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He was also a diesel mechanic at Ryder Truck Rental before retiring.
Surviving: wife, Jeris Coburn; daughters, Deannie Hurt of Youngsville and Jeannie O’Neal of Flagstaff, Ariz.; son, Danny Coburn of Merritt Island, Fla.; sisters, Opal, Janet and Brenda; brothers, Roger and Gene; stepchildren, Nicole Harrison, Shawn Dunston and Eric Dunston; nine grandchildren; his adopted children, Kveon Bullock, Kayana Bullock and Kamaya Bullock.
