LECTOR MAE PIPER
CREEDMOOR - Lector Mae Piper, 89, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.   Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Piper.  Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

The family will receive visitors at Enon Baptist Church, 2298 Enon Road, Oxford, NC from 10 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral at 11 a.m.

She was born in Wake County to the late Arthur Bailey and Lector Smith Bailey.  She retired after 46 years with Sterling Mills in Franklinton.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three siblings: Ola Ree Williams, Essie King and Macon Bailey; and one grandchild.

Surviving: four children, Other Piper Jr., Wallace Piper (Bobbi), Edna Brown (Steve), and Denis Piper (Brenda); four siblings, Leonard Bailey (Catherine), Liffie Bell Chamblee (Harold), Evelyon Seagroves (Albert) and Ella Mae Bailey; eleven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 

Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church, c/o Buck Adcock, 2117 Tommie Daniel Road or the charity of your choice.
