LOUISBURG - Hargie Lee Brodie, 88, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Ambassadors For Christ Church, Louisburg. Burial will follow in Eagle Rock Cemetery, Louisburg.

Surviving: daughters, Hattie B. Andrews of Philadelphia, Pa., Mary Arrington of Macon, Patricia Cooper of Bridgeton, N.J., and Constalina Alston of Louisburg; sons, Arthur Brodie of Philadelphia, Pa., and Andrew Brodie of Franklinton; sister, Pauline Morton of Franklinton; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
