DAN COLE BAKER SR.
MOBILE, AL - Dan Cole Baker Sr., 75, of Mobile, Ala., died Tuesday, March 18, 2014.  A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 22, at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile.

Born on Sept. 11, 1938, Dan was the son of the late Benjamin A. Baker and Rebecca P. Baker of Zebulon. He was a 1956 graduate of Bunn High School and then served in the United States Navy from 1956-1960.

Surviving: two sons, Dan Baker Jr. and David Baker, both of Mobile; one daughter, Danice Heathcock of Theodore, Ala.;  two brothers, Billy Baker of Winston-Salem and Ted Baker of Clayton; three sisters, Bobbie Strickland of Raleigh, Jane Ferrell of Wake Forest, and Jo-Ann Mullen of Zebulon; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
