FRANKLINTON—James Thomas Morris: 67, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Durham. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Don Ward will preside. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Pope’s Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery in Franklinton.

He was born to the late Jessie and Doris Williams Morris. He was a US Army veteran and worked for many years at Variety Wholesalers.

Surviving: wife, Patricia Hayes Morris of Franklinton; sons, James Morris, Jesse Morris (Lisa), Jeffrey Morris (Melissa), all of Franklinton; a daughter, Ginger Brame (Kevin) of Franklinton; brother, Russell Morris (Donna) of Franklinton; sister, Joan Collier (Terry) of Henderson; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Russell Morris, 380 Pocomoke Rd, Franklinton 27525.
