NURLENE F. WRENN
July 3, 1926 – July 31, 2014

LOUISBURG – Nurlene Finch Wrenn, 88, of Louisburg, died Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Wrenn was a daughter of the late Hobson and Mattie F. Finch. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Wrenn, Jr; daughters, Connie W. Swanson, and Marilyn W. Ayscue; sisters, Mary Helen Coley, and Mattie Belle Milton; brothers, J.C. Finch, Malcolm Finch, Micky Finch, and Hobson Finch, Jr..

A funeral service was held 3 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2014 in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Wrenn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Kent Perdue; sons and daughter-in-law, Jack Wrenn, III; Tim and Gina Wrenn, all of Louisburg; sisters, Gladys Cooke of Louisburg; Lois Ayscue of High Point; grandchildren, Todd Jeffreys, Jack Wrenn, IV, Thad Wrenn, Jill W. Wall, Morgan Wrenn, Jared Wrenn, Brittany Wood, and Heather Perdue; 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity U.M.C., 4272 US Hwy. 401 N., Louisburg, NC 27549.
