JERRY J. ALLISON

LOUISBURG - Jerry Jasper Allison, 82, of Louisburg went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his home. Born on February 11, 1935 to the late Jerome Jasper and Eliza Worley Allison. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Allison, and his grandson, Jonathan Lassiter. Jerry served honorably in the US Air Force, he loved nature and was a Boy Scout Leader; a humble Christian who loved helping others and was a giving person including sharing his bounty from his garden.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 1:45 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, where services will be held at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Lloyd Fish, Jr officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Jerry was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Shirley Fish Allison. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Tim Lassiter of Raleigh, Linda and Skip Butler of Charlotte; grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica L. and Anthony Lewis, Micheal and Christina Butler and Adam Butler; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Emma, Bridget, Allison and Nolan; brothers, sisters, and spouses, Clyde Allison, Wade and Barbara Allison, Nina Freeman and Mary and David Freeman.
