KITTRELL- Frances Overton Stone Fuller, 88, a resident of 2180 Rocky Ford Road, went to her eternal home on Monday, October 9, 2017. Born on July 15, 1929 in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. Stone and Nellie Pearl Peoples Stone, and was the widow of Thelbert Leland Fuller.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and gardener extraordinaire are just a few words to describe Frances.

She was a homemaker for twenty-five years and then attended Wake Technical Community College where she received her LPN certification and practiced nursing for forty-one years. She loved flowers and kept a beautiful garden and always shared with others and was willing to even swap a plant or two with friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church by Rev. Carolyn Roy.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Fuller Bobbitt and husband Bryant of Kittrell; a granddaughter, Linda Frances Rowland and husband Brien; two great-granddaughters, Arianna Ashton Fuller-Bell and Christine Leigh Rowland; two sisters, Marie S. Dofflemyer of Elkton, VA and Grace S. Wingrove of Norfolk, VA; a sister-in-law, Marie Stone of Apex; and an abundance of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special and loving friend, Pat Edwards, and her caring and compassionate caregiver, Lottie Tucker.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Stone Wright; two brothers, Lawrence Stone and Leslie Stone.

The family will receive friends following the service on Friday in the church fellowship hall and at other times will be at the home, 2180 Rocky Ford Road, Kittrell NC 27544.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Circle Group at Plank Chapel United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home.
