A. GLENN LEONARD, JR.
April 25, 1968 - January 8, 2018

CASTALIA - Alton Glenn Leonard, Jr., 49, of the White Level Community, died Monday morning at Rex Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton G. Leonard, Sr.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at White Level Baptist Church. Burial will be private.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Amy O. Leonard; daughter, Lexi Glenn Leonard and son, Skylar Leonard; mother, Judy Choplin (Bobby); grandmother, Judith Leonard; brother, Rodney Leonard (Irene); sister, Lisa L. Young (Richard); stepmother, Linda P. Leonard; nieces, Ashton, Taylor and Amber; nephew, Ethan; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Donnie Oakley; sister-in-law, Julie P. Loftin (Spencer).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lexi G. Leonard College Fund, 1416 Fishing Rock Rd., Castalia, NC 27816 or White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.

The family would like express their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Mark Yoffe and Rex Hematology Oncology Center for the many years of care given to Glenn. He is a remarkable doctor and most importantly our friend.
