LINSAY ERIN LUNSFORD and MAGGIE ROSE LUNSFORD
CREEDMOOR - Linsay Erin Lunsford, 18, and Maggie Rose Lunsford, 9, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 5) at Mt. Energy Elementary School in Creedmoor, with the Rev. Jason Thornton officiating. A private burial will be Thursday, Dec. 6, at South Granville Memorial Park.

Both are natives of Granville County and were the daughters of Mary Ann Walters Lunsford of Creedmoor and Clinton Wayne Lunsford of Stem.

Linsay was a member of Stem United Methodist Church and was a freshman at UNC-Greensboro. She was a 2007 graduate of South Granville High School and was a Morehead and Teaching Fellows nominee.

Maggie was a member of Stem United Methodist Church and was a fourth-grade student at Mt. Energy Elementary School. She was an “A” honor roll student, played rec-league soccer and was a white-belt, yellow-stripe in karate.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are one brother, Josh Lunsford of Raleigh; four sisters, Elizabeth L. Lee (David) of Graham, Nikki Lunsford of Oxford, Caitlyn Lunsford of Creedmoor and Angeles Kipp; maternal grandmother, Mildred Walters of Rougemont; two nieces and a nephew.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Lunsford Family, c/o Stem United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 10, Stem, NC 27581.
