JULIA C. DIXON
KNIGHTDALE - Julia (also known as Julie and Judy) Capell Dixon died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at Rex Hospital. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, Dec. 11, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, Knightdale, with the Rev. Alan Moody and the Rev. Jay Tilley officiating. Burial followed at her father’s side at Maple Springs Baptist Church, Louisburg.

She was born in Franklin County but was a resident of Raleigh and later Knightdale for 39 years. A graduate of Louisburg High School, she was a 31-year employee of SunTrust Bank. Her most current position was as a commercial banking specialist and assistant treasurer at Raleigh Central Lending for SunTrust.

Surviving: her husband, Phil; her mother, Lizzie Andrews Capell of Louisburg; brother, Richard Capell Jr. of Louisburg; sister, JoAnne C. Fletcher of Locust Grove, Va.; stepson, Dale Dixon; stepdaughter, Carole D. Faison, both of Knightdale; four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Capell Sr.
