RONALD “RON” GUTT
RALEIGH - Ronald Matthew Gutt, 70, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital following an extended illness. A memorial service was conducted Sunday, March 2, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Raleigh.

A native of Chicago, Ill., he was born to the late Stanley and Genevieve Blaszkiewicz Gutt. His son, Vincent, and daughter, Veronica, also preceded him in death. He was a former cadet at West Point Military Academy and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed with IBM, from which he retired.

Surviving: his wife, Carolyn R. Gutt of the home; daughters, Heidi Mills (Greg) of Clayton, Joy Ducker (Greer) of Greensboro, Jolene Warych (Ken) of Youngsville; sisters, Christine Halawa (Tony) and Cynthia Milan; and six grandchildren.
