ZEBULON - Harry Robert “Bob” Hawkins, 81, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, March 8) at Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
He was son to the late Lynwood Jackson and Glenora Dean Hawkins.
Surviving: his sons, Thomas Lynwood Hawkins of Zebulon, David Dean Hawkins (Susan) of Woodbridge, Va.; and one grandson.
Flowers or memorials to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary’s St., Raleigh, NC 27605 are welcome.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell.
