EVA MAE A. HARRIS
FRANKLINTON - Eva Mae Harris, 80, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 11, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

She was born in Granville County, the daughter of the late Josephine Haley Allen and Roy Allen, and was married to Richard Howard Harris Sr., who preceded her in death. She was retired from Sterling Cotton Mill.

Surviving: her son, Richard “Rick” Harris Jr. of Ramseur; daughters, Dale Jordan (Randy) of Youngsville and Kim Harris of Franklinton; sisters, Edna Beck of Wake Forest, Norine Smith of Franklinton and Larue Hardee of Chapel Hill; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
