JOHN F. HOLLIDAY
UNION, WVa. - John Franklin Holliday, 62, of Union, W. Va., formerly of Franklinville, N. J., died Friday, June 16, 2006 at his home following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 21) at the Groves Funeral Home Chapel in Union, W. Va., with the Rev. Bob Ratliff and John Furrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Ballard Cemetery at Union.

He was born in Neptune, N. J., a son of the late Rueben Harrell (Youngsville native) and Mary Katherine Whitfield Holliday. He was a structural design engineer.

Surviving: his wife, Colleen MacMullin Holliday of Union; sons, John Douglas Holliday (Lois) of Sicklerville, N.J., John Paul MacMullin (Maria) of Fresco, Tex., Michael James MacMullin of Union; daughters, Sandra Lynn Day (David) of Spring Hill, Fla., Sharon Lorraine Beans (John) of Williamstown, N.J., Eileen Theresa Holliday of Easton, Pa.; six grandchildren; and three cousins in Youngsville.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Union Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 78, Union, WVa 24983 or to Kanawha Hospice Care, Inc., 540 North Jefferson Street, Box 7, Suite D, Lewisburg, WVa 24901.
