CHARLES O. KEMP
ZEBULON - Charles Oscar Kemp, 87, died Friday, June 30, 2006.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 3, at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Ricky Anderson. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was the former owner of C. O. Kemp Trucking Co.

Surviving: his wife, Lula Doris Medlin Kemp; a sister, Marjorie K. Liles, (Edmond H. Jr.); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Oscar Kemp and Mary Ellen Edwards Kemp; a sister, Nancy Roberts; brothers, Leonard Kemp, Millard Kemp, Johnnie Kemp, Frank Kemp and Clyde Kemp.

Flowers welcome or memorials may be directed to Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church, 14551 Taylors Mill Road, Middlesex, NC 27557.

Arrangements handled by Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.
