MICKEY R. MAY
CASTALIA - Mickey Rogers May, 73, of Franklin County, died Sunday night Feb. 15, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 18) at Red Bud Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was the former owner of Phil’s Hardware and Auto Store in Castalia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Opie and Annie Ilene May, and brothers L.C. May and Alvin May.

Surviving: wife, Anne G. May; daughter, Scarlett Cottrell (Wayne) of Louisburg; son, Phil May (Mattie) of Epsom; sister, Corrine Leonard (Staley) of Castalia; brothers, Royce May (Libby) and Eric May, both of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
