CARRIE C. BROOKS
LOUISBURG - Carrie C. Brooks, 89, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Greater New Life Ministries with the Pastor Dexter Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Manasseh Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Beatrice Steele, Ruth Brooks and Geraldine Brooks, all of Charlotte, and Bernice Brooks of Franklinton; sons, James McArthur Brooks and Patrick Henry Brooks Jr. of the home, Alexander Brooks of Louisburg and Tony Brooks of Franklinton; sisters, Mary Helen Stroud and Emma Allen, both of New Haven, Conn.; brother, Comillus Cooper of Boston, Mass.; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7-8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 18) at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg.
