FRANKLINTON - Karen Walters Dale, 52, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. A memorial service, followed by family visitation, was conducted Monday, March 9, at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation, Wake Forest.

Surviving: daughter, Laura Whitney Dale of Franklinton; son, Pvt. Joshua S. Dale of Schoefield Barracks, HI; mother, Laura N. Walters of Wake Forest; sister, Julia W. Takacs (Larry) of Youngsville; brother, J. E. Walters Jr. (Betty) of Smithfield.
