LOUISBURG - Mrs. Virginia Dell Brodie Walker of Louisburg departed this life on March 11, 2009.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Louisburg. Burial, Monday, March 16, 2009 at the National Cemetery, Wilmington, NC.

Survivors: children, Kacy Walker, Kelly Carter (Donnie) and Paulette McKoy, all of Louisburg; her mother and father, Lillian and Willie Brodie of Louisburg; grandchildren, Ian, Gabriel, Isiah, V’Dell, Chloe, and Anna; sisters, Milltrene Newell of Louisburg and Angela Riley of Dallas, Texas; a host of other relatives and friends.
