YOUNGSVILLE - Daisy Frances Sheets Vandervort, 101, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Nancy Jane Gall Sheets and John Marshall Sheets.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norval Zane Vandervort. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, April 4) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Mills, Rev. Rich Paradis and Dr. Ant Greenham officiating. Burial will follow in Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.

Surviving: son, Richard Vandervort (Debra) of  Youngsville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
