LOUISBURG – Mary Odell Stallings Driver, 97, of Louisburg, died Friday morning.

Mrs. Driver was a daughter of the late Matthew and Theresa Nichols Driver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Archmond Driver; sons, Bobby Driver and Ben Driver. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Driver is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frances D. and Earl Burnette of Raleigh; son and daughter- in-law, Archmond “Archie” and Erma Driver of Louisburg; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, and other times at the home of Frances and Earl Burnette, in Raleigh.
