RALEIGH - Clora Britt Averette, 75, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Raleigh Rehabilitation and Convalescent Center. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, July 16, at Crabtree Valley Baptist Church.

Born in Garner to Hubert and Allie Britt, she was a life-long resident of Wake County.

Mrs. Averette was predeceased by her parents and eldest sister, Esther Mae O’Daniel.

Surviving: her husband, E. Hunter Averette; daughters, Kathy Jones of Randleman, Becky Trevillian (Jim) of Youngsville, and Nancy Averette of Durham; a son, David (Dottie) Averette of Franklinton; a sister, Joyce Noblin of Garner; and seven grandchildren.
