LOUISBURG - Anthony “Tony” Donald George, 51, died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, April 25) at Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, 854 Perry’s Chapel Church Road, Franklinton. Visitation with the family will follow immediately after the service.

Surviving: one son, Justin George; five brothers, Ronald, Daniel, Johnny, Brian and Jan George and their spouses; sisters, Donna George, Diane Emory and Sandra Rigney; and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to Perry’s Chapel Baptist Church, which in turn will be donated to the Diabetes Foundation in memory of “Tony” George.
