RENA M. (TEASLEY) WALKER-“TIBB”


WASHINGTON, DC - Rena M. (Teasley) Walker (known as Tibb), formerly of Franklinton, North Carolina, quietly passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 in Washington, D.C.

She was the devoted wife of the late Clabe (Gene) E. Walker;  beloved mother of Clabe (Tubby) E. Walker, Jr., Rose (Nell) Kornegay, Peggy Watson and Angela Walker.

Also, surviving are two brothers, Percy and Herman Teasley; four sisters. Mary Johnson, Esther Perry, Susie Bell-Jones and Marlene Brown; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Ebenezer AME Church, 7707 Allentown Rd, Fort Washington, Md., Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning, Pastor. Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery.
