LOUISBURG - Frances Griffin Weaver Foster, 89, went to be with her Lord and her beloved husband of 41 years, Wade H. Foster, Jr., on Thursday, March 30, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bunny and Viola Griffin; brother, Drake Griffin of Louisburg; sister, Irma Holmes of Henderson; also a husband, Ernest Holt Weaver; brother-in-law, Harry Cubbege.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Louisburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Reggie Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Foster Family Cemetery. The family received friends Friday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg.

Survivors are a son, Ernest Holt Weaver, Jr., and wife, Bobbie of Boydton, VA; daughter, Donna W. Meschke and husband, Robert of Kinston; son, John F. Weaver of Youngsville. Grandchildren are Wade A. Smith and wife, Theresa of Snow Hill, Jo Andrea L. Lawrence and husband, Barry of Goldsboro and Ernest Holt “Bevo” Weaver, III of Goldsboro. Great grandchildren are Jeffery Cole and Joseph Andrew Lancaster of Goldsboro and Dakota Wade Smith of La Grange, NC. Her sister, Charlotte G. Cubbege of Beavercreek, OH. Her extended family included Cyretha W. Barbee of Goldsboro, Mary Mize Weaver and Lois G. Hensley of Louisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
