LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Dorothy Mae “Dot” Crews, 66, who died Thursday, June 11, 2009, were conducted Thursday, June 18, at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sidney Dunston officiating. Burial followed in the Spivey family cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Shirley Gupton of Louisburg; sons, Wilbert Darrel Crews of Raleigh, John David Crews of Franklinton, Randolph Crews and Jason Frank Crews, both of Louisburg; sisters, Gaynell Wiggins, Maxine Sessoms, Doris Wiggins, all of Nashville, and Geraldine Egerton of Louisburg; brother, Ralph Junior Wiggins of Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
