RALEIGH - Hickman Odell “H.O.” Ross Jr., 78, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 28, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Raleigh.

Burial followed at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Franklin County, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service with 33 years of service.

Surviving: his wife, Hallie Ruth Ross; daughters, Rhonda Feldman (Paul) of Cary and Vicki Hicks (Kenny) of Pilot; sister, Nancy R. Edwards of Goldsboro; brothers, Clifford Ross and David Ross, both of Wake Forest; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
