ZEBULON - M. D. Eatman, 84, retired farmer, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 28, at Massey Funeral Home. Burial followed in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Polly W. and Everett Eatman and was preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia H. Eatman; his son, Marshall Eatman, and his brother, William Eatman.

Surviving; daughter, Sylvia E. Holmes (James) of Raleigh; sisters, Ida Mae Oakley, Lillian Hunter, Evelyn Allen (Gentry), all of Zebulon, Swannoa Bailey (Carl) of Waynesville; and three grandchildren.
