LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mr. James Arthur Perry, 84, who died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at South Main Street Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Larrell Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.

Surviving: his wife, Ollie Pearl Perry; daughters, Josephine Valesquez of Fresno, Calif., Bessie Clanton of Linden, N.C., Queen Penderman and Geraldine Alston, both of Louisburg, and Carolyn Freeman of Garner; sons, James Otis Perry of Fayetteville, Willie Perry and Alvin Perry, both of Raleigh, Darrell Perry of Louisburg; sister, Scotia Massenburg of Louisburg; 23 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Saturday, July 29) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
