ZEBULON - Mrs. Radah Strickland Edwards, 77, died Thursday, July 27, 2006.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, July 29) at Union Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Strickland family cemetery.

She was born in Nash County, daughter of the late L. C. and Addie Brantley Strickland.

Surviving: husband, Robert Lee “Knott” Edwards; daughter, Jennifer Horne (Johnny) of Zebulon; son, Rodney (Kimberly) Edwards of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Rachel Cone of Zebulon, Dorothy Price and Annie Sevelia Brantley, both of Middlesex; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
