LOUISBURG - Danny Clemont Grissom, 43, died Monday morning, June 29, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 1) in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, with the Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill King UMC cemetery.

Born and raised in Durham County, he was the son of Jack C. Jr. and Gray Walker Grissom.

Surviving, in addition to his parents: wife, Lynn S. Grissom; mother-in-law, Judy J. Strickland; brother, Ed (JoAnn) Strickland, all of Louisburg; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
