LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Willie Lee Strickland, 62, who died Sunday, July 12, 2009, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Nelson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emma Solomon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Lori Strickland of Louisburg; son, DeSean Strickland of Louisburg; brothers, Frank Long of Honolulu, HI, Alsidney Strickland and James Strickland, both of Louisburg; and four grandchildren.

Wake services will be conducted from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
