ZEBULON - Katie Davis Grady, 64, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at Wake Med. A memorial service was conducted Tuesday, Aug. 18, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, Knightdale.

She was born in Bladen County to the late Oscar Thad Davis and Kate Nance Davis.

Surviving: her husband, Albert W. Grady Jr.; daughter, Kathy G. Baker (Tracy) of Clayton; sons, Albert W. Grady III of Zebulon, Brad N. Grady (Jennifer) of Apex;  brothers, Ray Davis (Ann) and Dick Davis (Alice), all of Hope Mills; and two granddaughters.
