SPRING HOPE - Funeral services for Mr. Thomas “Bone” Strickland Sr., 81, who died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2006, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg, with Elder Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas family cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Tassie Strickland; daughters, Dorothy Crews of Louisburg, Eloise Bey and Maggie Strickland, both of Castalia, and Roxanne Strickland of Rocky Mount; sons, Larry Strickland and Thomas Strickland Jr., both of Castalia, Charles and Ronnie Strickland, both of Spring Hope, and Billy Strickland of Sharpsburg; sister, Ruth Williams of East Orange, N.J.; 24 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
