LOUISBURG - John H. “Big Boy” Alley, 77, of Louisburg, died Sunday, August 6, 2006, in Duke Medical Center. A memorial service was held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lancaster Funerals and Cremations, with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating.

Surviving: daughters, Judy Alley of Warrenton, Tonya Clayton of White Level, and Sonya Wright and husband, Jimmy of Louisburg; sister, Margaret Turner of Elizabeth City; grandchildren, Jeremy Neal of White Level and Hunter Wright of Louisburg; great grandchild, Jackson Neil of White Level.

The family received friends Tuesday night immediately following the service.
