ZEBULON - Charles Bradley “Brad” Cummings, 38, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at Wake Med. A memorial service to celebrate his life was conducted Monday, Oct. 5, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service in Knightdale. An inurnment service will take place at a later date for family and friends.

He was born in Greenville, Miss., to Clyde Bradley Cummings and Sandra Sue Sherman Diller. He was a service technician with Hydro Services and Supplies.

Surviving: wife, Christine Tyndall Cummings; daughter, Georgia Leigh Cummings; mother, Sandra Sherman (Steven) Diller of Knightdale; father, Clyde Bradley Cummings of Crossett, Ariz.; sisters, Karen Renee (Jeff) West of Zebulon, Kimberly Michelle (Kelly) Jenkins of Garner;  maternal grandmother, Helen Long of Winter Garden, Fla.; paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Hearn of Crossett, Ariz.; and eight nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made for the College Fund of Georgia Leigh Cummings, c/o Christine Cummings, 357 Christopher Drive, Clayton, NC 27520.
