LOUISBURG - Arthur R. Dees III, 51, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services  and burial will be private.

He was born to the late Arthur R. Dees Sr. and Hattie Dees of Washington, D. C. He was raised in Washington where he attended Howard University.

Surviving: sister, Elizabeth Daly; brother, Reginald Dees; four nieces, one nephew, two aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.
